Although it is not on most must-see lists, after reading about the Hunderfossen (Troll Park) near Lillehammer, Norway, seems to me one of the unique places that fits perfectly into a long trip with kids. It seems to capture the fun of an amusement park with uniquely Scandinavian fairy tale themes. The park gets good reviews on TripAdvisor.
